About us
At Feed the Village we are vegan caterers that are focused on quality, not quantity.
Healthy doesn’t mean boring. vegan doesn’t mean flavourless. Our food is unique and exciting. Our location – when and where you want it. We create our menus taking inspiration from ingredients and flavour combinations from the Middle East, Northern Africa, Asia, Cyprus, England and the Mediterranean. A perfect balance of texture, colour, taste and fragrance. We use only fresh and organic ingredients, which enables us to offer healthy vegan and gluten free options.
Having a kitchen on wheels makes us the best, most flexible caterer for every occasion. Whether it’s for a business party, an outdoor wedding, a music festival, a sports event, a film shoot or just a casual gathering with friends, we can make your event memorable and a splendid success.
We believe we should “Cherish the natural world, because you are part of it and you depend on it” - Sir David Attenborough. That’s why we use strictly only biodegradable or recycled packaging and cutlery to reduce our environmental impact. We are part of the new low plastic scheme and we source our ingredients from local small businesses wherever possible and our fresh produce comes daily from the market.
Hire us today and our experienced staff will prepare your meal and serve it with a smile.
If you have any dietary requirements just ask and we will be happy to help!

Our team
David : Founder
When I was 4 years old my older sister saw an advert for free-range beef made from “happy cows”. This is how she found out where meat comes from. She soon shared her newfound knowledge with me. We’ve been vegetarian ever since.
I feel there is a great responsibility for our generation to leave a positive mark on this planet. Personally, I want to provide tasty and healthy meal options for those who have already cut meat from their lives. I also want to help those who haven’t transitioned to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle yet to see how easy it can be.
The idea of Feed the Village was developed in 2016 when I was traveling across South America. As a vegetarian I was struggling to find suitable options in a land where everything smells delicious but mainly constitutes of meat or fish. I soon realised that back home this is the other way around. There are plenty of vegetarian options, but nothing very inspiring. That’s how I decided to use cooking techniques and spices from across the world and combine them with the easily accessible vegetarian ingredients from England. I decided to create vegan food that focuses on flavour, aroma and texture.
I have been running Feed the Village since January 2017 and in that time, I have gained a great knowledge of catering, street food and events. Being my own boss has been freeing and it has allowed me to be creative with my food. Despite the examples listed in our menu section, we have also catered menus of South East Asian, Indian, modern British and many more origins. Having a cart blanche gives me the opportunity to be playful with my recipes and to cultivate a unique experience for each and every customer.

Molly : Communications and Planning
Molly joined Feed the Village in 2021. She quickly proved that she is extremely capable in every aspect of the business and within a year had become part of the business as an investor. We launched "Feed the Events Ltd" in 2022 together with Cian, aiming to target larger events and do a full festival run. Molly now in on the end of most of our communications as well as taking care of our compliance and being a general spreadsheet wiz-kid.
Cian: Logistics
Cian, like Molly, joined as a general member of staff in 2021 before we founded "Feed the Events Ltd" as a trio in 2022. Cian is now in charge of logistics and is always the one making sure we have what we need to complete each job smoothly. Like Molly, Cian also has an impact on the business, beyond the day to day running of events, such as organising shoots and promos for our marketing.
The Mighty Winston
My name is Winston. The Mighty Winston actually, but I allow friends to call me Mighty. It hasn’t caught on yet, but why shouldn’t it?
I’m big, I’m pretty, I’m green! Does it get any better than this?
My life is awesome! People love me. Wherever I go crowds of people surround me, queuing up in long lines wanting something from me, taking photos with me, adoring me. It is so awesome!
But it hasn’t always been this way…
My life began in 2003 in a city called Birmingham. I was built just the same as my ancestors from the 80s, so by the time I was 3 years old, I looked 20. As you can imagine I got a lot of attention from the ladies, but at the time I was young and red, I didn’t care much about that. I got my first job as a Royal Mail van! Amazing! Every van’s dream!
Well, I wasn’t really delivering the mail. I was delivering the brave postmen and women, that would then deliver the mail. I was happy to do my bit, I was proud even! There was even a postman called Pat who went everywhere with his black and white cat.
Until the year of 2014, when it all changed. I was to be retired. My heart was broken, but that didn’t matter for them. Doors slammed. Pay-checks stopped. I was left alone at the scrap heap.
I spent three years there! Three miserable years of watching life pass me by, seeing my parts getting sold, my beautiful body rusting, my wheels breathing out slowly and my lights dying.
Until my saviour came along. I love him now, he’s my best friend, but back then when he saved me, I couldn’t understand his ideas and what he wanted from me.
He spent about six months cleaning me up, painting me green, putting in shelves, weird hot surfaces, weird cold insides, he covered me in signs that read “Chut the Cheese Up!”, he put flowers all around me, fairy lights, black boards with letters on them. I thought “Man, mail man delivery has really changed”. Guess what?! I had been converted and I didn’t even know it! CONVERTED! I was a food truck now!
It didn’t take me long to get used to my new life. Now I am always on the road, I see the world and I meet more people than I could count! Weddings, birthdays, music festivals, food festivals, film sets, sports events, summer parties, BBQs by the pool. I’ve even met Robin Curtis and Keira Knightly, I get to see it all!
Because of my “hippie” look, whatever that means, I’ve become a bit of a “social media” star. Every day I get to take tons of pictures with my fans. I even had some models sit on my bonnet one day. I get to play the lead in every market I set my wheel on. “Show-stopper” as some call me.
But most importantly I’M GREEN! Not only in colour, I’m healthy! I provide fresh and delicious food to all my fans. I feed them joy, happiness, halloumi, jackfruit, crunchy salads and tasty wraps, all served with my home-made sauces and smiles. All veggie and vegan of course!
All of this is possible thanks to my best mate David. The man in the van! Thank you, bro! Good luck!
And all of you guys, that would love to get to know me or him better, just follow us on Instagram or better yet, book us for your next event!
Cheers!
